Walking into VivaTech 2019 was an immediate inundation of elaborate booths, cutting edge tracks from celebrity entrepreneurs (shoutout to Jack Ma) and the latest innovations from start-ups (9000 of them, to be exact) and large companies. All of this set in motion to provide a venue to discuss and showcase what the next best thing is within the digital industry.
Diversity and inclusion have long been at the forefront of Rangle's mission and culture. We do our best to reflect this in our day to day practices. While it's not a perfect science, we believe it's important to keep working towards an environment where everyone feels confident and welcome. That's why for our NewCo Open House we let a wide range of Ranglers share what their experience has been like since joining. With that being said, we'll let them speak for themselves:
Rangle and Capital One created the Digital Transformation track at Elevate. Day Two featured incredible leaders driving uncharted change across their industries — from AI in the workplace to the future of brand reinvention and digital disruption.
Modernize Your Stack
After months of preparing for all of the city-wide festivities, Elevate's first day is officially over! For the uninitiated, Elevate is a must-attend destination for tech leaders, investors, and creators. The multi-day event features some of the most inspiring keynotes in the industry along with topical content streams, experiential programming and to top it off, epic social events. This year Elevate speakers include the likes of Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe-Herd, Loblaws CEO Galen Weston, Al Gore and more.
While still in school it can be incredibly difficult to determine what career you're interested in pursuing after graduation. That's why co-op placements are an essential part of deciding what path you want to take or even how you want to pivot your education. At Rangle we're lucky to have a group of co-op students and interns who are hardworking, dedicated, and inspiring to work with.
Here at Rangle, we're growing - and fast! An average Monday almost always means a handful of new faces joining us. While growth is incredibly exciting, it does pose a challenge in maintaining the level of community and connectedness we strive for. We have Friday Socials, tea sampling, lunch and learns, guilds and more, but it can be difficult to break out of the norm and meet people outside of your team. So how do you encourage a human connection instead of just transactional Slack messages and a quick hello as you pass through the kitchen?
