Be a Senior Visual Designer at Rangle

As a Senior Visual Designer at Rangle you will be influencing and guiding the design process for high profile clients across industries with an emphasis on innovation for the next generation of web and mobile. You will partner with UX, technology, and product management to ensure the design meets creative, strategy, and project objectives.

As the key subject matter expert with our clients, you will help facilitate and lead the way in designing products that are intuitive, beautiful and world class in their execution and experience. You bring dedication and integrity to the team, acting as an example to more junior Visual Designers. No egos here. Senior Visual Designers are collaborative and supportive.

Your Impact

Our clients range from visionary startups who need to launch quickly and confidently, to large enterprises looking for better ways to strategize and deliver services. As a Senior Visual Designer you’ll join a growing team that is redefining what it means to design and develop products using Lean and Agile principles in a seamless way. You’ll be guiding and consulting with clients on how to solve their problems effectively through a mixture of empathy, research, workshop facilitation, design, product strategy, and training. You’ll also be instrumental in mentoring teammates to ensure we’re all growing, learning and building the best software possible.

How We Work

You may have heard that Agile and design just don’t mix, but at Rangle you’ll be a part of a measured and road-tested process that consistently creates excellent results for our clients—and the people who use their software. We’ve honed the Rangle Design practice to best support Lean and Agile product development. Instead of the “big design up-front” hand-off common to waterfall practices, at Rangle you’ll be working closely with your development team and the client from day one. You’ll be the bridge between the UX, Visual, Product and Technical; between ideas and execution, helping your team to discover, define, and deliver value, each and every sprint.

What You Bring to the Team

We’re looking for kind, talented, resourceful people, who want to be a part of building the design practice at Rangle. Our team has competencies that range from product strategy and service design to design with code, and in general we favour communication and execution over documentation.

You bring a T-shaped skill set to the team. You can go deep in an area of digital product design that includes user research, user experience design, visual design or product strategy. Not only can you do the work but you can level up others on the team and speak to the importance of your particular area of focus to across the company through Lunch and Learns and workshops.
