Be a Group Technical Director at Rangle

Reporting to the CTO, the Group Technical Director will oversee the organizations technical apex consisting of Technical Directors and Solutions Architects. These professionals are senior consultants with deep technical expertise, focused on front-end development solutions.
The mandate of the Group Technical Director will be to provide technical direction, oversight and support to an already high performing and collaborative team, while preparing the organization for scale and growth from a capability and capacity perspective.
Provides direction, oversight and support to an already high performing and highly collaborative group by ensuring they have the tools, resources, training and support to continue achieving technical excellence while adherence to best practices across all client engagements.
Advises the Delivery Leadership team on technical quality and issues
Develops strategies to achieve quality software and desired client outcomes
Shaping People and Best Practices
Manages and leads internal programs to maintain employee engagement, career development and professional growth
Takes a very active role in shaping the organizations technical best practices and ensuring effective knowledge transfer across the team
Collaborate with internal resource management teams to ensure optimal work load distribution and subject matter expertise for various projects
Lead strategic initiatives including but not limited to technology investments, training and compliance
Supporting Marketing, Sales and Client Service
Engages with client’s senior technical staff to build relationships and help solve problems
May provide technical consulting to specific clients, as time permits
Participates in account planning meetings as required
Supports marketing efforts related to sponsored events, branding and public relations
10+ years industry experience in technology, specifically in fast-paced, application development environments
5+ years of leadership with strong emphasis on people management, development, performance managing and coaching leaders
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn technology stacks very quickly
Very strong technical leadership skills; understanding of best practices and of ways to promote them; Understanding of how to drive change through technology innovation
Strong communication skills; Needs to be able to communicate effectively across the organization and with clients
Good understanding of agile
Diversified experience across enterprise, start-up or consulting environments
