Our rapidly growing marketing team requires a results-oriented Events Manager (Maternity Leave Coverage) to oversee our events program to build sales pipeline, acquire and retain customers, and build brand awareness in the tech community. Our events team delivers over 50 events annually in Canada, USA and Europe. This contract is expected to be 12 months in length with possible potential to extend and/or become permanent, based on business demands.

The role will be action-packed and fun, and requires someone with a creative spirit, coupled with a thoughtful and analytical mind. As an organized self-starter, the ability to quickly learn and manage lots of projects and tasks will be key to the candidate’s success.
Own every aspect of our event strategy, from planning and logistics to marketing, follow-up and success tracking.
Contribute and coordinate the content for a positive and lasting brand impact during events/tradeshows.
Collaborate across all departments to form the overall event strategy.
This role reports to the Director of Marketing.
Collaborate across functions and silos to deliver high-value events to build Rangle’s brand across different industry verticals and geos.

Your Areas of Responsibilities
Manage the execution and logistics of customer facing events, executive dinners, industry conferences and tradeshows.
Define event objectives, manage individual event budget and deliver post-event reporting and ROI.
With Marketing colleagues, create promotional and communications materials - landing pages, invitations, sponsorship prospectus, etc.
Provide consistent and clear communication of events program to all stakeholders, including creation of internal briefing documents.
Utilize Salesforce to manage events/campaigns and report results.
Work with necessary teams to ensure they are ready for tradeshows.
What You Bring To The Team
3 to 5 years experience organizing events, with a preference for at least 2 years in B2B events.
Very strong organization and prioritization skills.
Great interpersonal and communication skills – you will be working closely with various departments aiming towards solving problems together.
You have the ability to reinvent yourself, as we find ways that we can do things better.
