Content & Social Media Manager

Non-billable Full-time
The Content & Social Media Manager at Rangle will oversee the strategy for building brand awareness through our social media channels, and execute the content marketing strategy in partnership with the Director of Content Strategy. They will collaborate closely with the Digital Marketing Manager on campaign and advertising messaging that boosts engagement and reinforces a consistent message on our advertising and social media channels. 
This person will be a strong writer with a knack for storytelling across various platforms and channels. They will assess our current limited social media efforts, devise a new plan for improving the channel, and then execute on it. Their role will also include building a partnership with the Community & Events Manager to collaborate on a joint events and social media strategy.
The incumbent will create this role at Rangle and will be able to offer input into the responsibilities and goals associated with the function within the marketing department. This person will ideally have a background in technology, or a demonstrated ability to learn new subject matter quickly. 

Your Impact

  • Form cross-functional relationships to learn and understand Rangle’s services, overall company strategy, and how to translate these into powerful messaging
  • Create and execute the social media strategy 
  • Own the creation of social media calendar planning, content for posts, and success tracking
  • Assess the current social media channels and platforms, and their suitability for the marketing team goals
  • Develop content including advertising copy, blogs, whitepapers, and landing pages, and contribute to content strategy
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager on messaging that supports the overall campaign strategies and the messaging on organic social channels
  • Collaborate with the Community & Events Manager to promote our events and look for new ways to create engagement for events
  • Report on trends, updates and relevant activities applicable to our strategy in social media

What you bring to the team

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, including building a strategy and executing it
  • 5+ years of experience in a marketing role, including demonstrated experience in content creation
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills 
  • Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to advocate for the importance of social media and seek buy-in and investment in related programs
  • Demonstrated decision-making skills; Ability to oversee the planning and execution of a program independently
  • Skilled in marketing campaign planning and strategy
  • Proven content creation and writing skills
  • Proactive self-starter; Able to shift priorities 
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
